LEN PEARL - Producer & Second Director


Meet Len Pearl. Leonard Pearl is an award-winning filmmaker who has produced and directed numerous fundraising and non-profit videos. He originally received his Bachelor of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and practiced entertainment and corporate law at a downtown Toronto law firm. He later left the practice and returned to school, where he studied film at Ryerson University

The first documentary Leonard directed and produced, called “Birthright," was broadcast onVision Television Networks and screened worldwide. Leonard produced the award winning documentary, "Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home," which has been seen by over 4 million people through television broadcasts on SundanceTVNetflixTVO, and film festivals such as Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. He also co-directed and co-produced the French/English version of a short documentary about the MS St. Louis for the Canadian Government and the CJC. 

Leonard has co-directed and co-produced more than 30 English and French short educational films about racism, prejudice and bigotry related to Canada for the non-profit organization FAST's new film program “Voices into Action,” which has been seen by more than 2 million students across Canada. 

Leonard is currently directing an producing a massive, two-part documentary TV series titled "Search Out the Land," with more than 200 actors and 100 historical scene recreations.
