Meet Joanna Douglas. Joanna is a Canadian actress best known for her starring role as Samantha MacIntosh (later Samantha Strange) on the CBC television series Being Erica

Joanna was recently seen as Doris Dunning in theJ. J. Abrams-produced mini-series 11.22.63 (based on the bestselling novel by Stephen King) and as Maid Annie in Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak. Her other notable film and TV credits include Joan in Saw 3D and Officer Shell Jenkins on FOX'sHappy Town, as well as leading roles in the feature films The Four Horsemen, New Year, and a surprise cameo in St. Roz. Joanna played oppositeDaryl Hannah, in the Lifetime Movie Network's All the Good Ones Are Married, had a supporting role in the Hallmark Channel USA's Taking a Chance on Love, and has made memorable guest-starring appearances on USA Network’s SuitsCBS'sFlashpoint, and CBC's Heartland on CBCThe Border, and Murdoch Mysteries.

As a graduate of the University of Toronto andSheridan College's joint Theatre and Drama Studies program, Joanna has enjoyed onstage roles such as Libby in "Opening Night" for Theatre Aquarius, Jillian in "Jillian Jiggs Tells Stories" forSolar Stage Children's Theatre, an array of characters in "Thirteen Hands" for the Hart House Theatre, Marjorie Pinchwife in "The Country Wife," and Bianca in "Woman Beware Woman", both forTheatre Erindale.
